What is the most important issue facing the Delta School Board?

To continue to provide a sound educational foundation for the students in the district while being prudent with taxpayer dollars.

What in your education or background makes you qualified for this office?

I was born and raised in the community and graduated from Delta High School. We chose to raise our family in the Delta district. I would like to see our school continue to offer a quality education for our students.

Why are you better qualified than your opponent(s)?

All of the other candidates are fine individuals and would make outstanding board members.

Did you support the construction of a new grade school and how do you think the construction is proceeding so far?

Yes, I supported a new grade school. The old building served us well for over 50 years. However, I believe a new elementary building on the same campus as the high school will be an asset. The bidding process has been completed and construction is in its beginning stages.
