Tonya R. Friga
AGE: 37
FAMILY: Husband Brian and children Brook, Payton and Gracie
EMPLOYER: Cape Electrical Supply
POSITION: Outside sales/lighting designer
HER TYPICAL DAY:
Up at 4:30 a.m., head to HealthPoint in Jackson, back home to get the kids ready. Go to job sites around 7:30 a.m. (appointments carry through the whole day, either here in town, out of town or at the store). Home around 6 p.m. to be with the most important people in my life.
MOST SATISFYING PART OF HER WORK:
I wouldn't call what I do work. It's my passion, my career, my second family. I truly love everything about my job. You're fortunate to work for this company. Ask anyone!
HER WORST HAIRSTYLE:
All my high school buddies could tell you I was no fashion model. Short-cut, tight perm and six inches of bangs standing straight up.
HER FAVORITE SONG FROM THE '80s:
White Lion, "When the Children Cry." One of my best friends, Janice, would play the song over and over again.
HER BIGGEST FIRST-DAY BLOOPER:
Being late ... what an awful feeling!
HER MOST EMBARASSING WORK MOMENT:
There's so many. I hit the Bloomfield bridge 100 yards away from the building and waited in the ditch for the "crew" to walk over there and laugh at me.
