Young - Dormeyer

Kathleen Young of St. Joseph, Mo., announces the engagement of her daughter, Lesley Michele Young, to Phillip Ryan Dormeyer, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Katherine Davis of Jackson.

Young is a 2000 graduate of Central High School in St. Joseph. She received a bachelor of science degree in accounting and human resources industrial relations from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2004, and received a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2007. She is an attorney with Moore Law Offices in Sikeston and Cape Girardeau.

Dormeyer is a 1994 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2004, and a juris doctorate from UMKC School of Law in 2007. He is an attorney with the Statler Law Firm in Cape Girardeau.

A June 12 wedding is planned in St. Joseph.
