Tom and Donna Williams of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Karisa Michelle Williams, to Kevin Patrick Lappe. He is the son of Paul and Debbie Lappe of Cape Girardeau.

Williams is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School, attended Southeast Missouri State University and Metro Business College, receiving an associate degree in business communications and computer maintenance. She is a warranty administrator at Bening Mazda.

Lappe is a 1997 graduate of Central High School. He is employed by West Contracting in Sullivan, Mo.

An April 29 wedding is planned at the Williams' home.
