Williams - Young

Teresa Williams and Steve Williams of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Nicole Williams, to Lance Thomas Young. He is the son of Tom and Carla Young of Cape Girardeau.

Williams is a 2007 graduate of Central High School. She graduated with honors in 2011 from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is a fifth grade teacher at West Lane Elementary in Jackson.

Young is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in management information systems from Southeast in 2011. He is an IT support assistant for RM Coco.

A Dec. 15 wedding is planned at Lynwood Baptist Church.
