Dr. Craig and Robin Williams of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie McKnight Williams, to Jacob Paul Blattel. He is the son of Tom and Cathy Blattel of New Hamburg, Mo.

Williams received a degree in video at Southeast Missouri State University, and a degree in digital photography from Harrington College of Design in Chicago. She is a photographer in Cape Girardeau.

Blattel received a degree in nursing from Southeast Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences. He is a registered nurse at Southeast.
