Steve and Sandy Mize of Jackson and Tim Wilkinson of Marble Hill, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Wilkinson, to David Boyd. He is the son of Perry and Norma Ball of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lanny and Sheryl Boyd of Hopkinsville, Ky.

Wilkinson is pursuing a degree in social work at Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

An outdoor wedding is planned May 19 at the Elks Lake in Cape Girardeau.
