Wessel-Nix

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wessel of Chaffee announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Lyn Wessel, to Shawn Dale Nix. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Nix of Milburn, Okla.

Wessel is a 1996 graduate of Chaffee High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from Maryville University in 2000. She is employed at Red River Rehabilitation in Madill, Okla.

Nix is a 1992 graduate of Mountain Grove High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southwest Oklahoma State University in 1996. He is completing his master of science degree in education at Southwest Baptist University. He is a fourth grade teacher in Mountain Grove.

A July 6 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Chaffee.
