EDWARD RODRIGUEZ

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ward of Ottumwa, Iowa, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melinda Elaine Ward, to Edward Louis Rodriguez, both of Pueblo, Colo. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Gregorio Rodriguez of Charleston, Mo.

Ward is a 1995 graduate of Ottumwa High School, and received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Iowa State University in 1999. She is promotions manager with Trane.

Rodriguez is a 1988 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau, and received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1993. He is product manager with Trane.

An Aug. 12, 2006, wedding is planned at Christ the King Catholic Church in Pueblo.
