Walker - Stovall

Riche and Donna Walker of Advance, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Ann Walker, to Jerry Richard Stovall. He is the son of Mike and Debbie Brown of Whitewater, and the late Rodney Stovall of Jackson.

Sara is a 2005 graduate of Advance High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in human environmental studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 2009. She is a teacher at Horizons Enrichment Center in Cape Girardeau.

Jerry is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. He is a combat veteran and served six years with the U.S. Army. He attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. He is employed at SoutheastHEALTH.

A Nov. 16 wedding is planned at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
