Wachter-Johnston

NEW WELLS, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Charley Wachter of New Wells announce the engagement of their daughter, Cindy Lea Wachter, to T. Patrick Johnston. He is the son of Tim and Linda Johnston of Scott City, Mo.

Wachter is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson, Mo., and a 2001 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a bookkeeper at Peoples Bank of Altenburg in Jackson.

Johnston is a 1998 graduate of Scott City High School, and a 2002 graduate of Southeast University. He is assistant project manager and safety coordinator at Gregory Construction Inc. in Jackson.

A Sept. 28 wedding is planned at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Wells.
