Vance-McCormick

Mr. and Mrs. Doug Stallings of Jackson and Claude Vance of Marble Hill, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Marie Vance, to Cpl. Chad Christopher McCormick. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark McCormick of Marble Hill.

Vance is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School, and is attending Southeast Missouri State University. She is assistant manager at Dairy Queen in Fruitland.

McCormick is a 2002 graduate of Woodland High School. He is serving with the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, Calif.

A June 18 wedding is planned at the McCormick home.
