Van Nostrand - Bishop

Tom and Patricia Martin of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Anne Van Nostrand, to Jordan Matthew Thomas Bishop. He is the son of Rhonda Bishop-Hall of Houston, Texas, and the late Tommy Bishop III.

Courtney is a 2009 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn., in 2013. She is pursuing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at Freed-Hardeman.

Jordan is a 2010 graduate of Rock Creek High School in Durant, Okla. He expects to receive a bachelor of arts degree in Bible studies in May from Freed-Hardeman.

A June 14 wedding is planned at Jackson Church of Christ in Jackson.
