Urhahn-Slinkard

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Denny Urhahn of Athens, Ala., and Jeannie Davis of Imperial, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mindy Lauren Urhahn, to Donald Albert Slinkard. He is the son of Mary Slinkard of Advance, and the late Jefferson M. Slinkard.

Urhahn is a 2002 graduate of Seckman High School. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in elementary education at Calhoun Community College in Huntsville, Ala.

Slinkard is a 2000 graduate of Advance High School. He is majoring in accounting at Southeast Missouri State University.

A May 31 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Advance.
