Tolson-Newman

COBDEN, Ill. -- Britany Lee Tolson and Tony Joe Newman announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Kent and Kathy Tolson of Cobden, Ill. Newman is the son of Tony and Pam Newman of Buncombe, Ill.

Tolson is a 2004 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School. She received an associate of arts degree from Shawnee Community College in 2007. She is employed at Kroger in Anna.

Newman is a 2004 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School. He is a corporal with the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Polk, La. He will be deployed to Iraq in August.

A July 7 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church in Anna.
