David and Holly Thomas of Oak Ridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Kia Leigh Thomas, to Austin Tyler Morrison. He is the son of David and Cynthia Morrison of Oak Ridge.

Thomas is a 2007 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, and received a bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is employed in retail management.
