Thoma-Eggers

Orville and Gwen Thoma of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy Lee Thoma, to Kyle David Eggers of Nashville, Tenn. He is the son of Carl and Brenda Eggers of Perryville, Mo.

Thoma is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is a nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Eggers is a 1999 graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast in 2004. He is an operations manager with Sam's Club in Nashville.

An Oct. 8 wedding is planned at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
