Steven is a 2005 graduate of Grundy County High School in Galt, Mo., and received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Missouri S&T in 2011. He is an electrical maintenance supervisor at United States Steel in Granite City, Ill.

An Aug. 9 wedding is planned in Jackson.
