Straus-Metz

Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan David Straus of Hattiesburg, Miss., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacey Rebecca Straus, to Todd Glennon Metz. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jerome Metz of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau and Oran, Mo.

Straus receive bachelor's and master's degrees in special education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is employed with Poplar Bluff School District.

Metz received a bachelor's degree in sports administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a sales representative with Organon Pharmaceuticals.

A Nov. 10 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
