Story-Illers

Steve and Jana Story of Wickliffe, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Jo-Ann Story, to Kelly David Illers. He is the son of David and Gloria Illers of Cape Girardeau. Story is also the daughter of the late Dorothy Mitchell-Berbling of Scott City.

Story is a 1999 graduate of Ballard Memorial High School in Barlow, Ky. She expects to receive a degree in nursing in December 2008. She is a pharmacy technician at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Illers is a 1999 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering and technology from Southeast Missouri State University. He expects to receive a master's degree in industrial management from Southeast in December 2008. He is employed in the manufacturing engineering department at TG Missouri Corp. in Perryville, Mo.

An Oct. 21 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
