Steward - Broughton

Marietta and David Obergoenner of Gordonville and Lon and Susan Steward of Prince George, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Nicole Steward, to Logan Patrick Broughton. He is the son of Tim Broughton of St. Louis and Michelle and Roy McMillan of Cape Girardeau.

Steward plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University, beginning in January, to pursue a degree in anthropology. She is employed at J.C. Penney.

Broughton is a graduate of Central High School. He is a lance corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. He is employed by Young Group Roofing Division.

A Feb. 28, 2009, wedding is planned.
