Starr-Lowes

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Russell and Jeannie Starr of Columbia, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Starr, to Daniel G. Lowes. He is the son of Kenneth and Linda Lowes of Sikeston.

Starr is a 1997 graduate of Hickman High School, and received a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a registered nurse in the medical/neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital in Columbia.

Lowes is a 1999 graduate of Sikeston High School, and received a bachelor of science in business from Columbia College. He is a financial service representative with Regions Bank in Columbia, and is a member of the 1140th National Guard Unit in Cape Girardeau.

An April 1 wedding is planned at St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, at Westminster College in Fulton, Mo.
