Spencer - Chapman

William Spencer and Donna Shaver of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Jean Spencer, to Lonnie Ray Chapman Jr. He is the son of Lonnie and Tina Chapman of Whitewater.

Spencer is a 2007 graduate of Jackson High School. She is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in social work at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Just Kids Learning Development Center in Jackson.

Chapman is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School. He received an associate of science degree in applied computer science from Mineral Area College in 2007. He is a computer technician at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

An Oct. 4 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Jackson.
