Smith-Sandfort

Kevin and Brenda Smith of West Plains, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Rene Smith, to Jason Dietrich Sandfort. He is the son of Moe and Patti Sandfort of Cape Girardeau.

Smith is a 2003 graduate of West Plains High School. She is a junior at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, majoring in dietetics.

Sandfort is a 2001 graduate of West Plains High School. He expects to receive a degree in financial management and investments from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville in May.

An Aug. 5 wedding is planned in Fayetteville.
