Sims-Deneke

Carla Sims of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Jessica Leigh Sims of Cape Girardeau, to Joshua Adam Deneke of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Larry and Diana Deneke of Whitewater.

Sims received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004 and graduated from Southeast Health College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2007. She is a registered radiologic technologist at Cape Radiology in Cape Girardeau.

Deneke received a degree in electronic engineering from the Institute of Electronic Technology in 2002. He is employed at Southeast Health as a biomedical engineer.

A Dec. 17 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
