Simmers-Kinder

BURFORDVILLE, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Simmers of Zalma, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Dawn Simmers, to Keenan Don Kinder. He is the son of Donald Kinder of Burfordville, and the late Joyce Kinder.

Simmers is a 1998 graduate of Zalma High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003. She is a high school science teacher with Leopold School District.

Kinder is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Southeast in 1997, and a master of science in instructional technology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2000. He is a high school social studies teacher with Leopold School District.

A July 10 wedding is planned in Florida.
