Gina Shell of Cape Girardeau and David Shell of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghann Rebecca Shell, to Cody Lovel Bell, both of Houston, Texas. Gina Shell of Cape Girardeau and David Shell of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghann Rebecca Shell, to Cody Lovel Bell, both of Houston, Texas. He is the son of Sheila and Edd Ghent and Gordon Bell, all of St. Louis.

Shell received a bachelor of science degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She is an early childhood teacher with St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School in Houston.

Bell received a bachelor of science degree in construction management from Southeast in 2007. He is a project engineer with Jacobs Engineering in Houston.

An April 26 wedding is planned at Centenary United Methodist Church.
