Sciortino-Pfeiffer

Mr. and Mrs. James Michael Sciortino of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Lynn Sciortino, to Brent Victor Pfeiffer. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pfeiffer of Jackson.

Sciortino is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University, and attended the University of Memphis Graduate School of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. She is an account executive with Withers Broadcasting.

Pfeiffer is a graduate of Jackson High School. He received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla, and is pursuing a master's degree in engineering management with the university. He is employed by Koehler Engineering and Land Surveying.

A Sept. 24 wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
