Schubert - Knuth

Tim and Linda Schubert of Perryville, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Kalena Schubert, to David Steven Knuth, both of Jackson. He is the son of Steve and Mary Knuth of Saybrook, Ill.

Schubert is a 2004 graduate of Perryville High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology in 2007 and a master of natural science in 2010 from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a high school science teacher with Scott County Central School District.

Knuth is a 1998 graduate of University High School in Normal, Ill. He received a bachelor of science degree in zoology in 2002 and a master of science in fisheries in 2007 from Southern Illinois University. He is a fisheries management biologist with Missouri Department of Conservation in Cape Girardeau.

A May 18, 2013, wedding is planned at Schubert's family's vineyard.
