Schiwitz-Reynolds

Bud and Brenda Schiwitz of Benton, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Shaina Leigh Schiwitz, to Capt. Mark Darrin Reynolds. He is the son of Jerry and Lil Reynolds of Cape Girardeau.

Schiwitz is a 1990 graduate of Kelly High School, received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1994, and graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. She is a family physician partner with Illini Medical Associates in Jerseyville, Ill.

Reynolds received a bachelor of science degree in 1996 from Southeast, and master's in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2001. He is a captain in the Medical Service Corps with the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.

An Oct. 28 wedding is planned at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Jerseyville.
