SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Vernon and Judy Scherer of Benton, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Elizabeth Scherer, to Robert Allen Schott, both of Scott City. He is the son of Leo and Dorothy Schott of Charleston, Mo. Scherer is a graduate of Kelly High School, and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Vernon and Judy Scherer of Benton, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Elizabeth Scherer, to Robert Allen Schott, both of Scott City. He is the son of Leo and Dorothy Schott of Charleston, Mo.

Scherer is a graduate of Kelly High School, and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
