Schaefer - Roth

Donald and Angela Schaefer of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Lois Schaefer, to Nathaniel James Roth. He is the son of Steve and Joyce Roth of St. Mary, Missouri.

Samantha is a 2009 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a freelance graphic designer and a cabinet designer for Menards in Cape Girardeau.

Nate is a 2007 graduate of Ste. Genevieve High School and a 2009 graduate of Mineral Area College, receiving an associate degree in computer science. He works for Rhodes Corporate Office in the IT department.

An Oct. 20 wedding is planned at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, Missouri, followed by a reception at Ray's Banquet Hall in Cape Girardeau.
