Rushin-Gerdes

Rick Rushin and Linda Rushin of Poplar Bluff, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Aimee Suzanne Rushin, to Jonathan Mark Gerdes. He is the son of Mark and Georgiana Gerdes of Jackson.

Rushin is a 1998 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. She is an accountant with Robert J. Whelan, CPA, in Poplar Bluff.

Gerdes is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. He is pursuing an associate of applied science degree in computer-aided drafting and design at Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Mo. He is employed at Sears in Poplar Bluff.

An Oct. 21 wedding is planned at Twin Springs Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
