Roy-Buchheit

Marvin and Gail Roy of Prairie du Rocher, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Teresa M. Roy of Cape Girardeau, to Tyler J. Buchheit. He is the son of Jim and Marsha Buchheit of Perryville, Mo.

Roy is a 2000 graduate of Red Bud High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004. She is a crop consultant with OptiCrop of Owensboro, Ky., working in Southern Illinois.

Buchheit is a 2001 graduate of Perryville High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in German and a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness from Southeast in 2005. He is employed by EDAT Inc. in East Prairie, Mo., working in sales and marketing of ag data management software and solutions.

A Feb. 17 wedding is planned at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher.
