Roth - Balsano

Joseph and Sherri Roth of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Jo Roth, to Ryan Anthony Balsano. He is the son of Tony and Debbie Balsano of Cape Girardeau.

Roth is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Balsano is a 2003 graduate of Central High School. He is attending Southeast University. He is employed at McAlister's Deli and Fitness Plus.

An Oct. 16 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral.
