Rice-Heuring

Dorothy Phillips of Fisk, Mo., announces the engagement of her daughter, Vickie Sue Rice, to Richard Lynn Heuring. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Heuring of Scott City. Rice is also the daughter of the late Paul Rice.

Rice received an associate degree in medical laboratory technology from Three Rivers Community College in 1988. She is a lab technologist at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, Mo.

Heuring received an associate degree in computer science from Southeast Missouri State University in 1977. He is a businessman and substitute school teacher.

A July 7 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo.
