Reynolds - Blattel

Jim and Shelia Reynolds of Kennett, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Michelle Reynolds, to Jonathan Scott Blattel, both of Jackson. He is the son of Thomas and Patricia Blattel of Cape Girardeau.

Reynolds is a 2001 graduate of Kennett High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary and early childhood education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2006, and a master's degree in educational administration in 2011. She is a kindergarten teacher at Franklin Elementary School in Cape Girardeau.

Blattel is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business management from Southeast in 2012. He is an insurance account representative for Bo Shantz State Farm Insurance.

An April 6, 2013, wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
