Reed is a graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield, and is attending Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield.

Wasson is a graduate of Strafford High School in Strafford, Mo., and attended Southwest University. He is youth director at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.

A Dec. 29 wedding is planned at Schweitzer United Methodist Church in Springfield.
