Price-Scherer

Mr. and Mrs. John Price of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Mackenzie Elizabeth Price, to Fred Lincoln Scherer III. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scherer of Bell City, Mo.

Price is a 2001 graduate of Central High School, attended Southwest Missouri State University, and is pursuing a degree in education at Southeast Missouri State University. She is the after school program director at St. Vincent's.

Scherer is a graduate of Bell City High School and Southeast University, and did graduate work at Southwest University. He is a vocational agriculture teacher with Sikeston School District.

A Sept. 4 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo.
