Prewett - Thompson

Joe and Stacy Prewett of West Plains, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Beth Prewett, to Kody Nelson Thompson. He is the son of John and Teresa Thompson of Jackson.

Prewett is a 2005 graduate of West Plains High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in mass communications with an emphasis in public relations from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008. She is city clerk with the city of West Plains.

Thompson is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a degree in Diesel mechanics from Nashville Auto Diesel College in 2005. He is a Diesel technician with Diamond International in West Plains.

An Oct. 24 wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church in West Plains.
