Powell-Copeland

Patricia Powell of Cape Girardeau and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Copeland of Matthews, Mo., announce the engagement of their children, Carrie Dawn Powell and Robert Lee Copeland.

Powell is a 1996 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in December. She is a respiratory therapist at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Copeland is a 1999 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast in 2004. He is employed in the pharmacy at Saint Francis.

A Sept. 3 wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.
