Pounds-Williams

J.B. and Juanita Pounds of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Anita Tonnette Pounds, to Frentress James Williams Jr. He is the son of Frentress and Sandra Williams Sr. of Charleston, Mo.

Pounds is a 1999 graduate of South Pemiscot High School, and a 2002 graduate of the practical nursing program at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. She is a licensed practical nurse at the Lutheran Home.

Williams is a 1994 graduate of Charleston High School, and received a bachelor's degree from Arkansas State University in 1999. He is a network administrator at Gibson Recovery Center.

A June 11 wedding is planned at New Bethel Baptist Church.
