Darla Scott of Jackson and Lonnie Ponder of Sikeston, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Drew Alicia Ponder, to Senior Airman Darel Ryan Roberts. He is the son of Melba Taylor of Benton, Mo., and Rob Roberts of Jackson. Ponder is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is a dental assistant at Bennett Family Dentistry.

Roberts is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School. He is stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Albuquerque, N.M.
A March 21 wedding is planned at Cape County Cowboy Church.
