Pohlman - thomas

Terry and Bonnie Pohlman of Oak Ridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Michelle Pohlman, to Adam Paul Thomas. He is the son of Chris and Kathy Gateley of Lathrop, Mo., and Paul Thomas of Bethany, Mo.

Pohlman is a 2002 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2006. She is a senior financial services representative at Commerce Bank in Cape Girardeau.

Thomas is a 2003 graduate of Lathrop High School. He received a bachelor's degree in agricultural systems management from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2007. He is an operations manager with Cargill Inc. in Vincennes, Ind.

A May wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
