SUMMERVILLE, Ga. -- Randy and Suzanne Pauley of Summerville announce the engagement of their daughter Kaitlin Pauley to Shae Simmons of Scott City. He is the son of Billy and Susan Simmons of Scott City.

Kaitlin is a graduate of Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. She is working on her master's degree in secondary education.

Shae is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is a pitcher with the Seattle Mariners, formerly a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves.

A wedding ceremony and reception will be Nov. 4 in Nashville, Tennessee.
