Pancoast -- Pruden

Dr. and Mrs. Charles Pancoast of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Nicole of Redmond, Washington, to Rusty Joseph Pruden of Pensacola, Florida. He is the son of Randy and Cindy Prudent of Tulalip, Washington.

Kimberly is a 2002 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School and received a bachelor of science degree in exercise science from the University of Nebraska in 2007. She is a personal trainer and triathlon coach at ProClub in Redmond.

Rusty is a 2011 graduate of Everett High School in Everett, Washington. He received an associate's degree in criminology in 2014 from Bellevue College. He serves in the U.S. Navy as a aviation warfare/rescue swimmer.

An Oct. 24 wedding is planned at The Portofino Island Resort in Pensacola.
