Palmer -- Jedlinski

David and Bobbi Palmer and Desiree Hawthorne, all of Cape Girardeau, announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Renee Palmer, to Matthew Thomas Aydt Jedlinski, both of Minneapolis. He is the son of Drs. Michael Jedlinski and Sarah Aydt of Cape Girardeau.

Taylor is a 2012 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in directing and technical theatre/design in 2016 from Lindenwood University. She is the event manager and technical assistant at Hopkins Public School District in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Matthew is a 2012 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in cell biology and physiology in 2016 from St. Louis University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in epidemiology at the University of Minnesota. He works for the Minnesota Department of Health.

An Oct. 14 wedding is planned at the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis.
