Neier-Lindeman

Steve and Jane Neier of Union, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Lynn Neier, to Richard Randal Lindeman, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Randy and Mari Lindeman of Manistee, Mich.

Neier is a 2002 graduate of Union High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is a graduate assistant in the Communication Disorders Department at the university, and expects to receive a master's degree from the university in August.

Lindeman is a 1998 graduate of Manistee Catholic Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich., in 2004. He is employed with Missouri Department of Corrections.

A March 17 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
