Nedilnycky - Gockel

Ray and Donna Nedilnycky of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Lynn Nedilnycky, to Matthew William Gockel. He is the son of John and Jane Gockel of Cape Girardeau.

Nedilnycky is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007, and received a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from William Woods University in 2011. She is a fifth grade teacher with Cape Girardeau School District.

Gockel is a 2000 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Southeast in 2008. He is a network engineer with Charter Media.

An Oct. 13 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church.
