Nance - LaGrand

Evelyn Nance of Whitewater announces the engagement of her granddaughter, Trisha LaDawn Nance, to Ivan Daniel LaGrand, both of Marquand, Mo. He is the son of the late Floyd and Virginia LaGrand of Cape Girardeau.

Nance is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Saint Francis Medical Center.

LaGrand is a 1985 graduate of University High School, and 1993 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is a captain/fire inspector with Cape Girardeau Fire Department.

An Oct. 13 wedding is planned at Fire Station No. 1 in Cape Girardeau.
